Happy Bucks
Jacques adjusted his way around the room and cracked us up as he collected our loonies and stories of gratitude and thanks. (FYI Jacques was a chiropractor. It’s less funny if you have to explain it. Had you known, like, LMAO funny.)

50/50
Hector dealt the 50/50 draw. Joan had the winning ticket to jeers, and picked the 10 of clubs to cheers. The pot is apparently still at $426.

Guest Speaker

Craig gave an engaging and engrossing talk about his stay in Stockholm, Sweden. Craig is from Winchester and was there on behalf of his church, assisting with the local Presbyterian church. An ordinary day became anything but when he found himself dodging a truck on April 17 during the terrorist attack on Drottninggatan (Queen Street).

Craig graduated from Algonquin College with a news media and broadcasting degree last year, and showed both poise and drama in his recounting of spending time in Stockholm and narrowly escaping death. It was well-presented and the club appreciated Craig coming in to share his experience

President Joan ended the meeting promptly at 1:30pm.
