  • - Fly Day in support of Rotary Home is on October 1st.  The event runs from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the Ottawa Flying Club. Tickets are $40 and this is a great treat for kids or those of us who are still children at heart.
    - RC Ottawa West is looking for Mum's and Calendar sales
    - The Ottawa Mission is looking for volunteers to prepare food. Following a brief discussion we concluded that we could replace our lunch time meeting on November 2nd with a contingent of members who could form a line at the Mission preparing sandwiches, etc. More on this to come.

Happy Bucks
Joan handled happy bucks and if you were not at the meeting you missed some interesting happiness and sadness.

50/50
Jacques conducted the 50/50 draw.  None of our financial folk were in attendance so we don’t know where the pot stands.  Mac had the winning ticket but no luck finding the joker.

Presentation from Speaker
Our very own Dragon's Den doyen of accounting Sam Monsour.
Sam fielded questions regarding tax and the Canadian Revenue Agency.  He had a beautiful platform that could have been used but he did not have time to line up a belly dancer!

President Peter ended the meeting promptly at 1:30pm.
