Tee signs will be sold at $200 each, two for $350.
Important that people start immediately at reaching out to golfers right away and the committee will follow up with emails via Event Caddy.
Club Membership: Kateri Clark
Please welcome Lisa Barleben as our newest club member. Lisa joined under the Family Membership option.
Kateri also shared that Rotary International has launched an appeal to assist the people of Turkey and Syria following the recent earthquake. An email was sent out to all Rotarians with information on ways to help.
Joan Hunter, Area Governor
Joan mentioned an organization called ShelterBox, a project partner of Rotary International, who provide emergency shelter and other aid items to families around the world who have lost their homes to disaster or conflict.
Joan is also the Editor of the Rotary newsletter and would be happy to include details of our upcoming golf tournament in the April edition.
The Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa have opened a new facility on Herongate. It would be their pleasure to host our members and show us around their new club. David Humphries and Andre Errett will investigate possible dates for this event.
Unfortunately, it seems that the Rotaract Club of Ottawa South is shutting down due to low membership.
On Friday, 31 March 2023 the Rotary Club of Kanata is hosting their Music Trivia Night at the Kanata Legion from 6 – 10 pm. Kateri suggested we enter a team, and she will be sending an email to the club with more details.
The Golf Tournament is confirmed at the Hunt Club for Monday, June 5, 2023. Jonny will be contacting the committee with details of the next meeting.
Scott Vetter led a brief strategy session on how to engage Rotarians to promote and sell Community Blend coffee. Everyone actively participated and there were many excellent ideas and comments. Scott will an overview and goals shortly.
