Condolences
ROS offers its condolences to Suzy Harrison, her husband, Rick, died on
September 10, 2024.
Suzy has been the General Manager at Rotel for almost 30 years and is integral to the success that Rotel has enjoyed over that period. She has met many of our members at the RCOS meeting that serves as the AGM for Rotel Foundation Inc. each year. Joan, Jonny and Scott serve on the Rotel Board, as well as RCOS alumni: Alex, Bernie, Dave, Gary and Ian.
Environment Fair
Location: Ottawa Baha’i Centre - 211 McArthur Avenue, Ottawa
Date: Sept 29th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Rain or shine – the fair will be held in the parking lot, or moved inside if the weather is inclement.

The Rotary Club of Orléans - Wine and Trees Event
The Rotary Club of Orléans is holding its annual Wine and Trees event at Domaine Perrault Winery on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, from 2 to 5 pm. Proceeds go towards planting trees by local high schools’ students, a project called “the Ottawa Rotary Youth Forest”. Please see the link below for more information and tickets.
David Oliver, Treasurer and Tom Batchellor gave us a report on the club's finances.
We had a great discussion on the 2024 golf tournament which took place in June. We talked about all the things that went well and ideas for improvement for next year's tournament. We have secured The Meadows Golf Club for our 2025 tournament at 2024 rates. Well done everyone!
